Village Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal clinic.
We provide in-house surgeries, a full range of diagnostic
laboratory services, and a complete pet pharmacy.
We recommend a complete physical exam for your pet on an annual or
bi-annual basis. Many changes can occur from year to year, especially as
your pet gets older.
Preventive health care recommendations are made based on examination
findings and your pet's individual needs and situation, which you help us
to determine. This may include blood, urine, or fecal tests, vaccinations,
dietary or exercise advice, and life-style changes.
Proper nutrition is fundamental to your pet's
well-being throughout his whole life.
Many illnesses can be controlled or even prevented
by what your pet eats.
There are many choices of pet food available. Let us
help you make the right decision for your pet.
Dr. Boyle trained in state-of-the-art surgical techniques should
your pet require a surgical procedure. We offer a full range of
surgeries from routine spays and neuters to more advanced
procedures.
We also maintain an extensive referral service for those
procedures requiring specialized training and equipment.
At Village Animal Clinic, we can perform
full service pet ultrasonic dental cleaning
and polishing. Your pet's dental health is
crucial to his overall well-being.
Our on-site laboratory allows us to perform diagnostic lab
testing to help us determine the best treatment plan for your
pet's medical condition.
As your pet ages, routine blood work is recommended to help
keep your pet in good health.
Radiology
Our x-ray equipment ensures your pet has
minimal exposure to radiation, while our
automatic processor produces clear, quality films.
Within minutes, we can have your pet's x-rays
taken, processed and ready for interpretation by
Dr. Boyle or Dr. Fairchild.
Vaccinations
Vaccinating your pet against disease is an important aspect of pet health care, proper vaccination can shield your pets
from such potentially deadly diseases as rabies, distemper, feline leukemia, and Lyme disease.
Some vaccinations must be re-administered periodically to protect your pets from diseases and keep them healthy for a
lifetime. We will work with you to evaluate your pet's lifestyle, and develop a vaccination protocol that is unique for
your pet's specific needs.
Geriatric Pet Care
Older patients commonly experience the same problems that older humans do - heart
problems, diabetes, arthritis, chronic kidney issues, dental problems, hearing and vision
loss, etc.
Many of these conditions can be treated to extend and improve your older pet's quality of
life.
Ear Problems
We can quickly respond to nasty ear infections, which can be painful and even
dangerous for your pet. You should have your pet's ears checked regularly to
prevent potential ear problems.
Pet Eye Care
We can perform routine eye examinations to maintain your pet's healthy
eyesight. We also offer certain eye tests such as tear testing and fluorescein
staining for diagnosing opthalmic problems.
